Eighteen emerging leaders are selected to meet with today's authorities in an environment that enhances both personal and professional growth and the growth of the community.
Under the guidance of a professional facilitator, participants refine leadership skills and learn important information on Westchester's current social, political, and economic climate.
At the classes, attendees participate in stimulating roundtable discussions as community experts, decision-makers, and other guest speakers lead them toward a fuller understanding of today's most compelling issues.
The Leadership Westchester members are informed about human service needs, government, the arts, homelessness, education, violence and criminal justice, and economic development. Sessions are held at locations around Westchester to demonstrate the county's geographic complexity.
