Board Bank: Helps connect nonprofits with professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds to join their Board of Directors.

Experienced Volunteer Executives and Professionals (EVEP): Do you need a team of professionals to help you with a strategic plan? To review and organize financials? To help review your marketing strategies?
These experienced professionals, 55+ years of age, will come to your organization in a small team or “think tank” to review and assist you with projects requiring professional experience.

Job Readiness Volunteers (a program of EVEP): helps agencies prepare job seekers to enter or re-enter the job market. They enhance existing job search programs by giving workshops on resume and letter writing, interviewing techniques and office etiquette. Role play and mock interviews are used as tools to enliven the workshops and provide experience and feedback for job seekers.

Board Resource Team
A partnership between The Volunteer Center and United Way of Westchester and Putnam
Maximize the effectiveness of your non-profit by calling upon this specially trained group of volunteer consultants with extensive business and management experience. Our team will provide on-site assistance to your nonprofit organization, leading your executive staff and board through a process of capacity-building and nonprofit management advisement.

Volunteer Internship Program (VIP): This program helps match people who are recovering from mental illness with an unpaid internship at a nonprofit for approximately six month, ten hours a week. Many of the VIP volunteers are seeking to be placed in an office environment and have a great deal of experience to share.

Corporate Days of Service Volunteers: The Volunteer Center helps corporations link with nonprofits who can benefit from a day of service. One day service projects include everything from painting, landscaping, client parties, building repairs and more.
