VOLUNTEERS

Mentoring Through EVEP

Volunteer mentors provide strong support to women who are survivors of domestic violence as they transition from shelters into a life of economic independence and freedom. Mentors offer professional advice, reassurance, and most importantly have an open ear for their mentees to be able to express their concerns as they move into the job market.

EVEP volunteers are prepared through a training session and continue to receive training and support from professionals as they move through the mentoring experience.
