Leadership Westchester

Leadership Westchester is a ten-month development program that shapes the lives of people who will influence the world of tomorrow.

Eighteen emerging leaders are chosen to meet with today's authorities in an environment that enhances both personal and professional growth and the growth of the community. Its goals are to refine leadership skills and provide important information on Westchester's current social, political and economic climate.

Leadership Westchester:

  • Teaches you about critical issues in Westchester
  • Helps you prioritize what issues truly matter to you so you can make a bigger impact
  • Brings you into a network of top community leaders
At monthly seminars, attendees participate in stimulating roundtable discussions as community experts, decision-makers, and other guest speakers lead them toward a fuller understanding of today's most compelling issues.

The Leadership Westchester members are informed about violence and criminal justice, human service needs, government, the arts, homelessness, education and economic development. Sessions are held at locations around Westchester to demonstrate the county's geographic complexity.
